Green Hospitality Award Presentations and Workshops 2010

Green Hospitality Award will host regional award ceremonies in conjunction with the first series of regional workshops.

Green Hospitality Award will host regional award ceremonies in conjunction with the first series of regional workshops. Regional award ceremonies will be held in 7 locations culminatiing in the National Award ceremony in late March.

Workshops will comprise of:

  • Session 1 (9.30am – 1.00pm)  Interested businesses, Current GHA members with new Green managers.
    Introduction to the GHA programme, Benefits & Opportunities, Economic, Social, Legislative challenges, Case Studies
    The basic criteria for small and larger business
    Eco Label and Award structures explained
    Green manager training opportunities

  • Session 2 (2.00pm – 4.30pm) GHA members, Interested members who would like to learn more about the programme
    GHA Programme update, 2010 Plans and challenges, Legislative issues 2010, Audit and Award feedback, market developments
    Field trip to experience best practice activity, Local artisan food sampling, Local environmental activity provider talk
    Supplier presentation, green purchasing ideas
